Arabic hadith textعَن أَبي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ المؤْمنينَ رَضيَ اللهُ عنها عَنْ خُلُقِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ:
عَن أَبي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ المؤْمنينَ رَضيَ اللهُ عنها عَنْ خُلُقِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ: لَمْ يَكُنْ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَحِّشًا وَلَا صَخَّابًا فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ، وَلَا يَجْزِي بِالسَّيِّئَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ وَلَكِنْ يَعْفُو وَيَصْفَحُ.
English translationAbu ‘Abdullah al-Jadali reported: I asked ‘Ā’ishah, Mother of the Believers, (may Allah be pleased with her) about the morals of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and she said:
